Yes, our favourite lying bigot is back and trying to re-hash the admitted by himself fraudulent religion - 'The Daughters of Frya' as 'The Famna'.

Sorry to make my British friends hurl into their cereal, but I thought you should know that Tony is back at it again with a phony religion trying to pick up some more young girls. Of course, we all know there is a certain disorder there is no cure for - starts with 'P' and I don't mean 'Pagan'. That's his 'cover'. The proof there is no cure is even though he admitted it was a hoax before, he just can't stop himself from trying to recruit and hurt young women.

And here is a prime example of a 'P' trying to recruit and 'groom'. Get out your tennis togs, teens, Tony wants to see you shake your booty and become a cripple for life for his pleasure.

I see you are still using copyrighted pics., Tony. That's a place to start anyway but there are WAY more places that will get to hear of you yet AGAIN!

I used to believe that 'religion' had some kind of function, let me re-phrase that: I used to believe that religion COULD have a benign function. I don't anymore. And no, it's not because I'm an atheist.

You know, being raised by atheists yet being encouraged to inform my self on most religions , myths and the cultural ethos that produced and surrounded them was fascinating. I love history and religion was a big part of it for a large part of history.From it has sprung artistic inspiration for beautiful works. Now read your history more closely and one can find that many artists had NO CHOICE, either in the visual, musical or written form BUT to write on religion and in a positive way. Until the enlightenment, one has to go all the way back to the Ancient Greeks and Romans (in the so-called 'Western World') to find outright mockery of religious beliefs. After that, it was only sly digs that usually only a few people could get or they were couched in such a way that they were ambiguous or so subtle that most would miss the implications.

And you know, I have to laugh. I just finished reading this fabulous book on pagan beliefs through the centuries that could enrich people's beliefs and even lend some , hmm, 'veracity' to certain beliefs. Indeed, I found 12 questions on a forum it could have given an answer to with historical authority ( at least, on the history and nature of the belief). And it's right there, under people's noses but because they can't be bothered to inform themselves and dig deeper, their own 'spiritual' beliefs are impoverished and questions left unanswered.

And here's a thing. Religion is SUBJECTIVE. Unlike even politics, there is no one 'empirical' observation or test for it. It comes down to what people wish to believe ( which is fine) but where I start getting ill is when it rules the world or attempts to. It has become popular now to equate 'atheism' with the most unlikely companions. How often does one read that 'Atheists worship science'? What utter tosh. 'Science' is a PROCESS, not a 'belief' nor does it ever posit causality. That is akin to saying 'Atheists worship cooking'. Well, I've yet to see a religious forum or group that doesn't have a recipe section. Following from the above logic chain, people that like to cook must be Atheists. Quelle surpise.

Guess which concept or group of concepts posits causality? Yep, religion. It's the 'Big Lie' all over again.

Now, I don't like people telling me what I should like subjectively in art or even cooking. Yet that is EXACTLY what the religious Zietgiest wants to do: tell people how to live, how to think, how to consider things and has for centuries.

I look around the world and see the fucking misery caused by religion and I despair. People talk about 'personal responsibility' then in the name of tribalism or some belief, inflict horror or denigration onto others. As a woman, one is intensely aware of this as it seems in most belief systems, women are the enemy.

Well, that's not exactly a news flash, so what prompted this?

First, a 'little' news story:

This little story tells of how they would like to see certain cartoons banned in Russia because "Christian and Muslim groups are demanding that 2X2 be shut down because it airs cartoons, such as South Park, which they deem to be anti-religious, violent as well as promoting homosexuality.

"Through the use of cartoons this channel is pumping, day and night, an ideology into the consciousness of minors of perversion and other vices," said the council in a statement released this week."

And I DON'T have to give examples of the same kind of thinking in so many, many countries. I don't even like South Park, I think it's infantile. I hardly think it leads to major vices, unlike say, the Russian Mafia.Who (hint: not cartoons) punishes even small vices such as one can see in some Middle Eastern Countries? Oh, and PLEASE get the Christian Fundies to shut the hell up and stop their book burning and Media Sanitizing campaigns.

Right. Second tid-bit. Tibet. Oh, wail and moan! The poor Dahli Lama! ( you know, the dude that enjoys shooting hawks for sport). Read your history people. The Regency/Theocracy in Tibet wasn't even set up until 1751. Sure, not a good choice: China: dictatorship, 'Free Tibet': Theocracy. If people have read some books about the some of the ways young people and locals were treated under that Theocracy , they might give it another thought. Some of the ways 'monks in training' were treated could give the Catholic Residencial schools a run for their money. But people refuse to dig, to read history : they take their 'peace and love' sound bites from some peaceful, hawk-shooting , non-materialist who appears to be able to jet around the world and live in fancy hotels as some kind of 'Holy' man. Fine. Just get the facts right. I remember reading about one of the Tibet peasants who blessed the Chinese for finally fixing his only road from his farm after waiting YEARS for the 'Tibetans' locals to do it.Now his family isn't on starvation row.

READ about Ghandi. READ about some of your holy leaders. And yes, one should do the same for political leaders. However , just saying : political leaders: bad, religious leaders: good misses the point. They are human. 'Religion' is a human construct ( and unless someone can find me some church going plants , animals and rocks to counter this, I'll say no more)

3rd Item. I was reading someone thanking a friend of theirs for translating their 'deities' will for them properly. Gee, I thought friends being supportive and giving was called 'friend ship', not 'channeling'. So, even friends aren't good enough anymore unless they are also ( and this is a BIG one used by most pagans and religious groups) 'the chosen ones'.

Golly, for a world populated by 'chosen ones' that know the wills and words of meta-beings, we are still pretty screwed up. Of course I was 'told' recently it's because people who don't believe are not 'listening' or interpreting properly. I see. Or, I don't see and nobody can seem to be able to reproduce these wonderful things, not even the 'chosen' ones. And more ASTOUNDING!, they seem to suffer from all the slings and arrows of affliction and sorrow as anyone else. Pagans especially are one of the most whiny, least charitable, most bigoted groups around.

It makes me happy to see the fruit trees and gardens that fill our city all in bloom now. On a bad day, it makes me happy to contemplate their beauty. It also makes me hope it is making others more cheerful as well. I also know that tree or that flower would bloom whether anyone was there to see it and it would not lessen it's beauty or importance one ort.

I am a Fortean. I believe the universe is so full of wonders, no one will ever get to the end of them even given infinity to work with because it will always be changing. How incredible! How mind-boggling! If you have nothing to lose, there still may be something to be gained: you never know.

But! It's not enough. We are selfish, avaricious and ego-centric (not unlike most species). The only difference is we seek to impose our will on others not out of necessity or survival, but out of .... a subjective believe that we are 'right', other's are 'wrong' and they must die or somehow be totally muffled.

But most those who profess deep and abiding beliefs? Why aren't you happier? Why are you still bitching about 'fairness' as if you were alloted some at birth and got ripped off and somehow if you only just squint your eyes just right and pretend that that day-dream is actually a higher being, you'll be 'saved'. Doesn't seem to have worked, does it?

Now please stop trying to impose your will on mine and those I love. Please just enjoy your subjective day-dreams and let others enjoy theirs. That is NOT too much to ask.

Feed the world.Save the world. Bloody Hell, give a few minutes of conversation to a lonely elderly person at a bus stop.

Just get off your fucking pedestal and check the base: it rests on nothing but your hopes and dreams and you know what? You can still have those , they are yours. Stop acting like you are stealing them from some one or you need validation or permission from some 'higher source' to either be happy or crappy. Some things you may not be able to change, some things you will, but if you don't stop checking with Madame Zora to see if your stars are aligned or pretending to talk to deity in order to have permission to live and the imagination to work out a road through life for yourself, You will always.....be in a cage of your own making.

Do you know who this is? If you are British, and you don't, you're sorely in need of some history lessons.

But you know, I've had some interesting 'lessons' in the last few weeks. I know I rant about pagans and their fairy-dusted crystal links to the universal 'oneness' of all. Also, their incredible connection to DEITY!

There seems to be a problem with a lot of pagans I've been watching ( not all, by a long chalk and those that stood firm have my DEEPEST admiration).

But those that stood by, who mocked at 'hate groups' and connections to them as if they were somehow , you know, not wanting to get their oh-so-sacred hands dirty having to deal with it or to sully their vision with what is happening in the REAL WORLD - WHAT ARE YOU THINKING? ARE YOU THINKING? Every refusal to face facts, every excuse made to try and brush away a huge force of the blackest of the black corners of the human psyche as if it were 3 people hiding out in some f...a...r....away land and couldn't touch you? WAKE THE FUCK UP!

I saw things I never thought I'd see. People who crowed about their righteous principles LIE through their teeth about what happened on PN. And guess what, it's happening on other pagans forums as well and that's A-O-K with you as long as it doesn't get in the way of 'THE FORUM', you know the one, the one that prides itself on fighting for the rights of pagans? Gee, I guess those being beaten and killed, well, they probably weren't 'pagan' so to hell with 'em , eh? BECAUSE THATS WHAT YOU ARE SAYING.

Also, the so very, very cheap and untrue excuses. Substitute the word 'rules' ( which they seemed to make up as they went along) and it sounds eerily like 'We were only following orders'. Hmmm, heard that before somewhere. It's been known for awhile that there was a 'hit list' of people who were wanted off the forum ( interfered with the really important stuff like a mocking insulting troll being licked like a new-born puppy by the powers that be, especially one mod )"because the spirits told me to tell you all the truth!". If people think I'm being silly ( that's a word used a lot for serious things), I have a letter telling me that certain subjects were not to be spoken of. Freedom of speech. Well, it was said there there was none and there certainly isn't now. Indeed, now it's bloody thread-bare to put it charitably. But at least no one is mentioning anything...distasteful to the refined sensibilities of the mods.

Bah! And for those that were so gutless that they understood what was happening but were too afraid to lose their membership on such a cowardly,ass-kissing (even kissing nazi ass by not allowing discussion of it, that's gotta take some cake!), I SPIT on you. You are beneath contempt and are the kinds of people that would be the last to stand up for those in need and the first to whine if YOU were in need. Face it. Not pretty, but from where I sit true.

I'm taking the hackers. Indeed, some of those BNP and 'Blood and Honour' creatures - they've tried to kill me and ruin my son's life once, and yet even knowing this, I'll NEVER stop fighting hate mongers. So excuse me while I laugh in the face of all those 'warrior' types preening themselves on forums where they won't have to stand up in reality to true harm. I pray, in my own way, none of you EVER meet some of the people you are defending by getting rid of those who spoke against them.

And what are YOU doing about it? Oh, that's right - denigrating those who are trying to do something while still keeping in good with the apologists.

I never, never, thought I'd say this. But I have more respect for what Tony did then for most of the people still on that forum. He showed more honesty and integrity when what was happening became apparent than a whole 'committee' of mods. There's a pretty comparison for you.

Good Day!

For reasons best known to itself and the monolithic MSN, I am locked out of my old LJ due to my repeated requests for a new password being sent into cyber-space around Saturn rather than to any e-mail addy known to myself.

Therefore, I once again open the shop-worn doors of my new establishment and invite you all ( O.K., not ALL, some I can do well without ) into my tree (seeing as most people I communicate with are out of their own tree to begin with :-) ). No news flash there, then.
